Bronte Kelly, JD
Barrister & Solicitor
Bronte joined Swansky Family Law & Mediation in 2022 and prides herself on guiding clients through their family law matters with compassion and empathy. Bronte has personal experience with the issues that families face when dealing with separation, as such she values alternative dispute resolution processes that can help families resolve matters while minimizing conflict and fostering cooperative solutions. While Bronte is dedicated to helping families reach settlement outside of court, she is ready and able to effectively advocate for her client’s best interests in court when necessary. Bronte has represented clients in both the Supreme Court and Provincial Court of British Columbia.
Prior to completing her articles at a boutique family law firm in downtown Vancouver, Bronte received her Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of law at the University of British Columbia. While attending law school, Bronte was a student clinician at RISE Womens’ Legal Centre where she provided legal services to women and gender diverse people in family law and immigration matters. She also volunteered with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program as both a clinician and clinic head to provide individuals with legal advice who would be unable to afford legal help.
In her spare time Bronte enjoys attending concerts, golfing, hanging out at the beach, and reading fiction.
