My experience with the Swansky Family group spans back to over 3 years ago! In dealing with a very difficult ex- spouse looking for an outrageous amount of money. The delay was all on my ex-spouse’s end, being flakey with different lawyers, no answers, etc. from anyone on that end.
My first initial call was with “Brenda Coady” “Paralegal” extraordinaire, I can’t say enough about Brenda, she is truly the glue at that firm and if she does not have the answers, trust me she will get them for you. She is a real gem and time saver should you need information and or something done.
She was able to set a zoom call, with a Roxana Necsulescu, Roxana was able to take the time on our initial consult and really lay out the ground work, she was able to really listen to my needs and concerns (and I had a lot of them) for you see, this was not necessarily an “open and shut” case for spousal support. As were going through the processes of working through my case, it took a lengthy time as my ex would take months in reply, and almost a year of no answers, etc... we were ready and waiting.
It was during the “waiting period” of hearing back from my ex, over a year or so, that Roxana announced that she was leaving the firm to pursue another dream position. I was floored, I had no lawyer or sense of protection….
Man, was I wrong. In comes Tarel Swansky!! Tarel followed up with me immediately after Roxana’s departure, where we had 1 of several in person meetings, zoom meetings over the next few years! I challenged Tarel with me “Sticking to my train of thought” about payments, etc. Tarel, is a great listener and she was able to really put all my “jumbled thoughts, asks, requests, and all the other thoughts” I had and put them an affidavit that made sense. Wow, I was blown away. Tarel was so supportive of my questions and she really cared about me as a client, I never once felt pushed aside and or a “client” I actually felt like I was “family”. It was so comforting to know that she had my back.
Fast forward to our actual Supreme court hearing, All I can say is that Tarel’s performance, demeanor was nothing short of professional, and highly organized. She was even able to offer the judge back up copies that my ex’s lawyer did not have, though she was a junior lawyer, Tarel never once played on that and treated her as a professional colleague – class act!
In the end, we were able to reach an amicable agreement that worked out in my favor, it was through Tarel’s persistence, professionalism and down right compassion she has for Law and her clients that also shines through to her staff, namely Brenda who I know had Tarel’s back every step of the way during my lengthy, frustrating process that I was able to really feel at ease and “taken care of” as part of the Swansky Family Law group.
I would like to also extend a “Thank you” to “Bronte Kelly” though we had never met, I know she assisted Tarel on my case, knowing Tarel over these past few years, I am confident that Bronte would follow in Tarel’s footsteps in taking care of her clients too!!
Thank you,
JP
